Ozz In The Morning

Plumbers named Joe are benefiting from all the attention given to Ohio plumber Joe Wurzelbacher during last week’s presidential debate. After “Joe the Plumber” was repeatedly mentioned by John McCain and Barack Obama, Joe Francis’ website, joetheplumber.com, (in Amarillo, TX) became a hot Internet destination. “I’m taking orders,” said Ronnie Bishop, who works with Francis, of T-shirts with the company logo. “It’s kind of wild.”

Meanwhile, The Press of Atlantic City reported that Joe Griesbach, whose van reads “Plumber Joe,” has recently been spending time signing autographs and granting television interviews. And Oxnard, California plumber Joe Lara has been fielding international callers over the past week. “They’re trying to get insights on my political views,” he told the Ventura County Star.
