Foods That MAY Help Prevent Baldness:
-
Mussels: A good source of zinc, which plays a role in cell reproduction and hormonal balance, both of which affect hair growth.
-
Steak: It is high in protein, iron and zinc. Zinc manages the glands that attach to your hair follicles. Hair is made mostly of protein so it makes sense that a protein-heavy diet would help prevent hair loss.
-
Milk: The drink is rich in iodine (another mineral vital to healthy hair, skin and nails).
-
Black beans and other legumes: Good sources of protein and iron.
-
Chickpeas: These, also in the legume family, are high in zinc and vitamin B-6, both great for maintaining healthy hair.
-
Eggs and other sources of dairy, such as yogurt: These are also good ways to add extra protein to your diet. Eggs are loaded with nutrients like selenium and magnesium.

Well that was quite the snowstorm!! There’s a news story to be found at kscbnews.net. I managed to get stuck in our parking lot and had to catch a ride home in the KSCB 4×4.
I saw quite a few people in similar misery along the way, stuck in ditches and such. This afternoon I braved my way outside my apartment to snap a few pics and thought I’d share them with you in a slideshow, so click on the pic below…
Hope to get the car dug out today or Sunday and will be back with ya for Ozz In The Morning on Monday, bright and early, 6am … Peace/Out!

I snapped a LOT of pictures at the Chamber Banquet Saturday night. Here are a few:
There were so many tables I couldn’t fit them all in one picture!

Tomorrow I’ll have a slideshow of most of the tables up close so you can get a look at their fantastic presentations.
The Liberal H.O.G.’s were in charge of security :) Actually they volunteered to take the tickets as people came in!

Rick Brenneman, Rozelle Webb & Larry Howell had a few words for the diners before they could eat…

Everyone enjoyed visiting with friends, walking around looking at the table presentations and choosing where they would sit.

I’ll have MANY more pictures from Saturday night’s Banquet in upcoming OzzBlogs!
