Katy Perry has unveiled the new video for her latest single “Waking Up in Vegas.” The clip features Perry amidst posh hotel rooms, high-stakes gambling, fancy outfits, expensive cars — all things Vegas. The track is the latest single from Perry’s One Of The Boys album. [link to the vid HERE]
Take these predictions with a grain of salt. It’s getting down to the point where ANYONE can go home and the range of votes between 1st & 5th won’t be that wide. Personally, I’m pulling for Allison and Adam to be in the finals. I thought Gokey fell flat last night but you could tell he’s the one the judges want to see in the finals with Adam by the way they blathered on about how great he was.

Octo-Mom’s New Tat
Octomom Nadya Suleman just got some new ink to remember her massive brood by. But she’s not trying to be like Angelina Jolie - really! Suleman, who has seven tattoos already, went under the needle in Hollywood for a shoulder-covering angel tat featuring 14 stars - one for each of her kids, RadarOnline.com reports. Jolie pays homage to her children on her shoulder via ink of the geographical coordinates of their birthplaces.

NEW INVENTION MAKES TWITTER LOOK LIKE WORK: The British Web developer Elliott Kember has created Spreadtweet, an easy-to-use Twitter client that looks like a boring Excel spreadsheet. Not only is it a clever way to dodge the boss, but Spreadtweet is also a clean, efficient way to send and receive tweets. Mr. Kember maintains three versions of Spreadtweet that mimic Office 2003, Office 2007 and, for Apple computers, Office 2008. You can run any version on any PC or Mac, though, because they’re all built with Adobe’s AIR software toolkit that removes the usual software compatibility headaches. Rihanna and her new friend, Katy Perry, were spotted together in Barbados this week. They were photographed on a boat in Rihanna’s home country. The pair seem to be getting friendly lately. Perry recently talked MTV News about her friendship with the Rihanna, saying, “I don’t think I really, like, reached out to her. We’re friends and we’re both kind of on this crazy roller coaster, and … it’s nice to have good girlfriends. I pride myself on having cool chicks in my life, and she’s a cool chick. We’ve hung out a couple times.” Perry went on to say that she considers Rihanna a friend but isn’t making “a big deal of it,” adding, “She’s a really cool chick. I love her style. … She’s one of those unaffected people.” Other than that, Perry wanted to keep mum on their budding friendship.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TALKS ‘THE PHONE’
The Justin Timberlake-produced action reality show, The Phone, premiered last night (Tuesday, April 21st) on MTV. During the series, contestants were asked to take on a major challenge after getting a call about a mission on their mobile phones. Then they completed several high-stakes adventures for clues that could ultimately lead them to a $50,000 prize. Timberlake tells People magazine, “We take four people and put them through a game of hell, basically. We make them characters in an action film. We constantly throw a curve ball.” In last night’s episode, a female contestant presses 1 on her phone keypad to play, and a car blows up nearby. Timberlake says, “I helped format the show and come up with ideas to constantly up the stakes on the contestants. But I have such a great team that put together the ins and outs of the show.”

KELLY CLARKSON RELEASES NEW VIDEO
The new video for Kelly Clarkson’s “I Do Not Hook Up” single has been released. The plot finds Clarkson fantasizing about making out with a waiter at a garden party and another guy at a karaoke pool hall. But it ends up not actually happening. It’s all in her head. Katy Perry and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi helped pen the song, but Clarkson came up with the clip’s theme. Clarkson talked to Rolling Stone about what the song means to her, saying, “I am all about quality and not quantity with relationships. It’s like, ‘Man, if it’s not gonna be a quality relationship, I don’t even want to waste my time.’”
